Art helps ignite people’s imagination. People are afraid to fight for unknowns, art helps them visualize what an alternative world can be.
— Gan Golan, Graphic Artist and Cultural Organizer

HATCH is a new non-profit initiative that brings together artists and cross-sector leaders to solve problems and transform communities. We believe that art and creativity can propel dramatic social change in ways that policy prescriptions alone cannot.

Based in Austin, Texas, HATCH is a project of the Center for Public Policy Priorities, which works to ensure that economic and social opportunity is available in fair measure to all Texans.
